So this past weekend I went to surf camp through a company called Waves. They bring you three hours away near the beach of seal rocks. This beach is a secluded beach, and one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Even though I had surfed before, this weekend helped me to become a much better surfer. It also gave me a great experience by coming within 10 feet of dolphins, and seeing lots of fish in the clear water.
The camp site it very much like a little fraternity house because all of the instructors live in tents around the site, and just party every night, and surf during the day. On my website I will be posting pictures, and providing more information about the excursions and how to go about participating.

creating a persona website
So as you already know, I am studying in Australia abroad for a semester. Throughout this semester, I will be traveling the country, as well as countries that are nearby such as New Zealand, Fiji and Thailand. My goal of this website that I am going to create is in a way like a travel guide. I have done many interesting activities already, and have also done a great deal of traveling so far on my adventure.
On this website I will include pictures of my travels that will help to provide a non-text story along with the text that will explain my photos. Along with photos, I will be including information of activities that I involve myself in so that other people who browse my webpage will know how to involve themselves as well. In a way I am promoting the companies, countries, and activities that I involve myself in.
My website will hopefully give the onlooker an insight of my persona, and my life abroad, as well as informing people what I did so that they can have the same amazing experience that I am having. For example, here is the 3rd largest bungee jump in the world that I did. It is located in Queenstown, New Zealand and it is called the Nevis. It provides you with the most amazing 7.5 seconds of free fall that you will ever experience. It is unearthly, and cannot be described. But pictures like this can help, as well as a video that I have that I can include on the website.

Initiation to the blog
This is my first blog in webart design. I am studying abroad here from the United States for the semester and loving Australia already. When we first got here on February 3rd we went to Auckland, New Zealand for a two week pre-semester trip. This trip was insane. I did everything from living in cabins and hiking a glacier, to bungee jumping 134 meters, to luging, zorbing and river boarding. Eventually we ended up in Queenstown, which is one of the best cities that I have ever been to. So that was a very, short summary of my trip up until I got to Australia. I could get much more detailed, but that would take a long time and it cannot be done within the short time of this class. Cheers?
